The County Commissioners of Caroline County approve the entry
of Caroline County into the North County Water & Sewer Authority
(the "Authority") on the terms and conditions set forth in the proposed
Articles of Incorporation ("Articles") for the Authority, which Articles
are set forth as Attachment 1 hereto provided that all of the jurisdictions
referenced in the Articles similarly agree to enter into and form
the Authority.
Upon approval of the Articles by the participating local jurisdictions,
the County Commissioners of Caroline County are authorized to, and
shall, execute the Articles and to take all necessary and appropriate
actions to cause the Articles to be filed with the Maryland State
Department of Assessment and Taxation, and to take all reasonable
and appropriate acts in furtherance of the creation of the Authority
and for Caroline County's participation therein.
