The Code Enforcement staff is responsible for maintaining complete copies of the Building and Plumbing Codes[1] and Chapter 300, Zoning, of the Code of the City of Cortland as enforced. These copies shall be made available for inspection by the public.

A. 
The procedure for assessment and taxation of real property shall be provided for in New York Consolidated Law, Real Property Tax Law, RFT.

Any reference to "City Chamberlain" in said Title XI is hereby deleted, and the words "Director of Administration and Finance" substituted therefor. In all other respects, the procedure set forth in the Real Property Tax Law and other applicable state laws shall govern.
The Plumbing Board shall have such powers and duties as provided for in Article 4 of the General City Law.
A. 
The Electrical Board, consisting of seven persons familiar with electrical contracting, fire safety or electrical testing, nor more than three of whom may be City employees, shall be responsible for determining the qualifications of electrical inspectors pursuant to Chapter 122, Electrical Standards, of the Code of the City of Cortland and the rules and regulations made thereunder.
B. 
The terms of office of each member of such Board shall be three years from the first day of January following their appointment, except that the terms of office of members first appointed to the Board shall be staggered so that three members shall be appointed for three-year terms, two members for two-year terms, and two members for one-year terms.
C. 
The members of the Board shall be appointed by the Mayor subject to confirmation by the Common Council.
