Editor's Note: By amendment of 10-1-1996, this bus stop was
extended an additional 80 feet east.
No person shall park, stand or stop any vehicle other than a bus in any bus stop as specified in § 11-141. It shall be permissible to temporarily stop a vehicle within such bus stop for the purpose of and while actually engaged in loading and/or unloading passengers, when such stopping does not interfere with any bus waiting in or about to enter such bus stop. It shall also be permissible to temporarily stop a vehicle in a designated Bus Parcel Pickup Zone within a designated bus stop, such zone to be designated by signs, to pick up parcels delivered by bus or to leave off parcels to be delivered by bus, but such stopping to be done only when actually so engaged in picking up or leaving off such parcels and only when such stopping does not interfere with any bus waiting in or about to enter such bus stop.
No person operating a bus within the City shall stop for the
purpose of taking on or letting off passengers, except at duly designated
and established bus stops.
