No person shall burn or set fire to any lot
or land; vegetation, growing or dead; trash; refuse; waste or other
matter or thing unless done in an enclosed container, incinerator,
stove or fireplace used in a dwelling or building, connected to a
chimney or other device so constructed or equipped as to prevent the
escaping of flames or sparks therefrom.
The Milton Volunteer Fire Department may burn
off any lot within the Town at the request of the owner of the property.
Outside fireplaces shall be allowed for cooking
purposes, but not for burning trash.
