Town of Colden, NY Chapter 16 Ordinances, Publication of

[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Colden 4-10-1975 by L.L. No. 1-1975. Amendments noted where applicable.]

§ 16-1 Effect on statutory provisions.

Those provisions of §§ 264, 265 and 133 of the Town Law of the State of New York that require publication of the entire text of an ordinance of the Town of Colden and amendments thereto are hereby repealed as said provisions relate to the Town of Colden.

§ 16-2 Abstract or outlined form to be used.

That all ordinances of the Town of Colden and amendments hereafter enacted by the Town Board of the Town of Colden shall be published as a notice in the town newspaper in abstract or outlined form only. Said notice shall contain sufficient information with which to appraise the public of the general contents, effect and intent of said ordinance and the enactment thereof.
