Editor's Note: This ordinance also repealed Ord. No.
1788(12) adopted on 11-21-2005 and Ord. No. 1816 (20), adopted on
11-21-2006, and all prior ordinances referred to therein or addressing
the salaries of elected officials and working conditions of appointed
officials and nonrepresented employees of the City of Burlington.
Henceforth, the City of Burlington shall adopt resolutions setting
forth the schedule of the salaries of elected officials and working
conditions of appointed officials and nonrepresented employees of
the City of Burlington, Counties of Racine and Walworth, State of
Wisconsin. Any item not addressed in such a resolution shall be addressed
in the Employee Manual, and may be varied from in a contract with
an appointed official. In the event of conflict between a provision
of the Employee Manual and duly adopted resolution, the terms of the
resolution shall prevail. In the event of a conflict between the Employee
Manual and/or the resolution and a duly entered contract between the
City and an appointed official of the City, the terms of the contract
shall prevail.
