The issuance of a permit is required for the installation and
operation of alarm systems within the Town of Harvard, and the Select
Board is authorized to issue such permits and to adopt reasonable
rules and regulations for the orderly issuance of such permits, including
fees, having due consideration for the efficient provision of emergency
services to the inhabitants of the Town of Harvard, which rules and
regulations may be enforced by the Select Board, which shall take
appropriate action in the name of the Town of Harvard to prevent,
correct, restrain or abate violations, each violation being subject
to a fine not exceeding $200.
