[Adopted by Ord. No. 6-1998 (Ch. 10.16 of the 1996 Municipal Code)]
No person shall himself perform, or permit, authorize or allow
another person to repair, service or overhaul any automobile, truck
or motor vehicle, including work on the motor, ignition system, transmission,
drive or electrical system, body or fender, upon any public highway,
street, parking lot or alley of the City.
Emergency repairs shall be permitted where an automobile, truck
or motor vehicle has failed in operation upon a public highway, street,
parking lot or alley, provided that the emergency repair necessary
to place the vehicle in operation shall be completed within one hour.
