Whenever any owner, lessee, tenant, occupant or other person having possession or charge of any building, lot, plot or premises in the Village shall violate Article I, II, or III of this chapter, the Village may, after certification by the Village Administrator, remove such violation, and the expense thereof, if not paid to the Village within five days after demand, in the case of real property, shall be assessed and collected as provided by law in the same manner as a tax lien is assessed and collected.
The violation of any provision of this chapter shall be punishable as set forth in § 1-8 of this Code.
