City of Englewood, NJ Article 17 Pedestrian Crosswalks

§ 25-63 Designation of pedestrian crosswalks.

The locations described in Schedule XXV,[1] attached to and made part of this chapter, are hereby designated as pedestrian crosswalks, which crosswalks shall be in addition to crosswalks otherwise designated by state statute.

§ 25-64 Marking of crosswalks.

The Chief of Police, or his designee, is hereby directed to have the proper pavement markings, consistent with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, placed upon the locations designated in Schedule XXV.

§ 25-65 Parking prohibited.

Notwithstanding any other provisions of this chapter, no person shall stand or park any vehicle on a crosswalk designated in Schedule XXV or within 25 feet thereof.
