[Adopted 10-5-1978 by Ord. No. 2335 as §§ 5-9 to 5-14 of the 1978 Revised General Ordinances]
No person shall maintain or operate any miniature golf course or golf driving range or game of similar nature without first obtaining a license therefor from the City Clerk.
Application for a license shall be made in writing by the owner of the property on which it is intended to operate such miniature golf course, golf driving range, or other game of similar nature, which application shall contain the full name and address of the applicant and shall be accompanied by a map showing the dimensions of the property, together with a description of the proposed plan, if any, for lighting the property.
The annual fee for such a license shall be as provided for in Chapter 191, Fee Schedule.

Each license shall expire on the 31st day of December of the year in which issued and shall apply only for the premises described in the application and shall not be transferable without the consent of the City Clerk.
The licensed business shall close daily at 11:30 p.m. and shall remain closed until 8:00 a.m. of the next morning, except that, on Sundays it shall remain closed until 1:00 p.m.
Any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding $500 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
