It shall be unlawful for any person to be, remain, loiter, idle, wander, stroll or play in or upon the City parks between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. of the following day except as set forth in § 302-9.
The provisions of § 302-8 shall not apply to:
A. 
Persons who are engaged in the performance of duties as an officer or an authorized agent of the City.
B. 
Persons in lawful employment when such employment makes it necessary to be in such places during such time periods.
C. 
Persons who are participating in an organized program or meeting authorized by the Director of the City Recreation Department and who have obtained from the Director of the City Recreation Department a written permit authorizing an exception. The permits shall be limited to Garrity Field and Mackay Park during the baseball and/or softball season for the period of April 9 through June 4. Such authorization shall state the specific time of extension which shall be adhered to by the participants without exception.
