A. 
No owner, operator, lessor or manager of any premises within the City containing more than two dwelling units shall conduct or operate the business of a multiple dwelling without first securing a license therefor within the time and manner provided herein.
B. 
Filing of application; application information.
(1) 
The owner of each multiple dwelling shall file an original and two copies of the application for a multiple dwelling or hotel license with the Construction Code Official, upon forms provided by the Division of Code Enforcement, along with the license fee set forth herein. Each application shall contain the following information:
(a) 
The name, address and telephone number of said owner.
(b) 
A description of each multiple dwelling, by street number and name.
(c) 
The name, address, and telephone number of the agent appointed by said owner for the purpose of receiving service of process and other orders or notices.
(d) 
The name, address and telephone number of the person, association or corporation, if any, which manages or operates such hotel or multiple dwelling for or on behalf of the owner.
(e) 
The name and address of any mortgage holder of record.
(f) 
Whether the owner is a corporation, partnership, industrial, joint venture or some other entity.
(g) 
Whether the building is a hotel or multiple dwelling.
(h) 
The construction class.
(i) 
The number of dwelling units in the building.
(j) 
The number of stories in the building.
(k) 
The year of construction.
(l) 
A statement certifying that to the best knowledge of the owner the premises in question are in compliance with this article.
(2) 
Every application shall be signed by at least one individual owner or, in the case of a partnership, corporation or other entity, by a duly authorized representative of the owner, in which case the signer's relationship to the owner shall be stated. The name of the person signing shall be printed or typed beneath the signature in a legible manner. Each application shall also contain a certification of the truth of the information contained therein.
C. 
Except as otherwise provided herein, the term of the license shall be for one year from February 1 through January 31 of the next succeeding year and is renewable annually.
D. 
Every person applying for or renewing a multiple dwelling license shall pay to the City of Englewood an annual license fee calculated as provided for in Chapter 191, Fee Schedule.[1]

E. 
The licensee shall display the license in the vestibule, front hallway or other prominent and public place at or near the front entrance of the building during the entire period for which the license was issued.

A. 
All condominium and cooperative associations respecting any premises within the City of Englewood under condominium or cooperative ownership shall annually file with the City Clerk a registration statement for each annual period commencing January 1 of each year specifying the following information:
(1) 
The name of said condominium or cooperative association.
(2) 
The mailing address of said condominium or cooperative association.
(3) 
The name, address and telephone number of the agent appointed by said condominium or cooperative association for the purpose of receiving service of process and other orders and notices.
(4) 
The names, addresses and telephone numbers of the president, vice president and secretary of said condominium or cooperative association.
(5) 
The name, address and telephone number of the managing agent for the condominium or cooperative premises.
B. 
The aforesaid annual registration shall be filed with the City Clerk on or before January 15 of each year. In the event of any change in any of the information required within said registration statement, a revised registration statement shall be filed with the City Clerk within 10 days following said change.
C. 
The officers and managing agent, if any, shall be jointly and severally responsible for furnishing the registration information required hereunder.[1]

There shall be posted in the vestibule, hallway or other prominent place at or near all public entrances of any building containing more than two dwelling units a directory designating each dwelling unit by number or letter and setting forth the last name of the occupants of said dwelling units, but this provision shall not require the posting of the name of any tenant or occupant who does not wish his name to be so posted.
Any person violating any provision of this article shall be subject to a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both, for each separate violation thereof.
