As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
A four-wheeled vehicle that conforms to the definition and
requirements for low-speed vehicles as adopted in Wis. Stat. § 340.01(27h)
and under 49 CFR 571.3 and 571.500. "Low-speed vehicle" does not include
a golf cart.
A person may operate a low-speed vehicle on any Village street
that has a speed limit of 35 mph or less, subject to the following
restrictions:
A.
The person operating the low-speed vehicle holds a valid motor vehicle
driver's license from Wisconsin or another state;
B.
Headlights must be on during operation;
C.
The low-speed vehicle is registered, titled and licensed by the State
of Wisconsin;
D.
The low-speed vehicle is operated subject to all vehicle, traffic and parking requirements as set forth in Wisconsin Statutes and Chapter 500 of the Shorewood Village Code;
E.
No person may operate a low-speed vehicle at a speed in excess of
25 mph.
