[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Nissequogue 4-5-1988 by L.L. No. 5-1988. Amendments noted where applicable.]
Parking at the Village Park and Wildlife Preserve at Long Beach shall be limited to such areas as have been set aside therefor and duly designated by appropriate signs.
Such parking shall be for Village residents only, and all vehicles using the parking facilities at the Village Park and Wildlife Preserve shall be identified by a current parking sticker, issued by the Village Clerk and prominently displayed on a left side window of such vehicle.
Parking of vehicles at the Town of Smithtown Parks, located at Cordwood Path, Long Beach and Short Beach, and the Town Boat Basin and Marina located at Long Beach shall be prohibited between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., unless the owners or occupants of such vehicles are actually engaged in recreational fishing or boating, and whether or not otherwise restricted by any local law, ordinance or regulation of the Town of Smithtown.

Except for emergency vehicles and vehicles operated by a governmental body in performance of its duties, no motor vehicle of any kind shall be operated over the beach or beaches or dunes owned by the Village of Nissequogue or over any of the other beaches or dunes within the Village or in the nature conservancy areas.

Any person committing an offense against any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be guilty of a violation pursuant to the Penal Law of the State of New York, punishable by a fine not exceeding $500 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. The continuation of an offense against the provisions of this chapter shall constitute, for each day the offense is continued, a separate and distinct offense hereunder.
