The Town of Raymond is in favor of a three-year term for the
Town Treasurer, as provided under the new law, RSA 41:26-a.
[Adopted 3-17-1979 ATM by Art. 5]
The Town authorizes the Treasurer to appoint, with the approval
of the Selectmen, a Deputy Treasurer.
Said Deputy shall be sworn, shall have the powers of the Treasurer,
may be removed at the pleasure of the Treasurer and shall provide,
before entering upon the duties of the office, sufficient bond as
required by law.
