Pursuant to the authority vested in the Board of Selectmen by
RSA 31:39 and in accordance with Title VI of the EPA Stratospheric
Ozone Protection Act, the following article is enacted.
A charge of $3 per white good disposed of at the Raymond Town
land fill and requiring refrigerant discharge shall be assessed beginning
July 1, 1992, until December 31, 1992. Beginning January 1, 1993,
and continuing from that time, the charge will be $6 per white good
requiring refrigerant discharge.
Said goods requiring discharge are anticipated to be, but not
limited to, refrigerators, freezers, air-conditioning units, etc.
Coupons for disposal of white goods will be on sale at the Town
offices during regular working hours.
