§ 215-26Violations and penalties.
The following regulations and restrictions apply to the use of the municipal parking lot located along Water Street:
A.
It shall be unlawful for any person to park a vehicle or allow it to remain parked in the municipal parking lot for a period longer than 24 hours, except Sundays and holidays.
B.
It shall be unlawful for any person to park any vehicle or combination of gross weight in excess of 7,000 pounds anywhere on the paved section of the municipal parking lot.

Any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $25 and costs and, in default of payment of fine and costs, to imprisonment for one day for each dollar of fine imposed, but not to exceed $25.
