It shall be unlawful for any person to interfere with any County officer or employee who is engaged in the official performance of his duties.

No employee, official or agent of Stephenson County shall threaten in any manner another employee of Stephenson County or his/her family on account of that employee's filing or prosecuting of a complaint or other action before a federal or state court, grand jury, administrative agency, or law enforcement agency. "Threaten" shall include, but is not limited to, changes without good cause in salary, benefits, or duties, or as defined in Paragraph 15-5 of Chapter 38 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, as amended (720 ILCS 5/15-5).
