Adoption. The current BOCA National Property Maintenance Code is hereby adopted.

Incorporation by reference. The BOCA National Property Maintenance Code, current edition, is hereby incorporated herein by reference and made a part hereof as though more fully set forth herein at length.

A. 
GFI protection. The current BOCA National Property Maintenance Code, adopted and established herein, is further amended at Section PM-605.0, entitled "Electrical Equipment," to require that all buildings and dwellings requiring a certificate of continuing occupancy shall have electrical receptacles installed in any bathroom or laundry room and within six feet of any water facility, such as, for purposes of example, only a kitchen sink or wet bar sink shall have ground fault circuit interrupter (GFI) protection.
B. 
Minimum one-hundred-amp electrical service. The current BOCA Property Maintenance Code, adopted and established herein, is further amended to require that all buildings and dwellings requiring a certificate of continuing occupancy shall contain an electrical service with a minimum capacity of no less than 100 amperage, as provided by the code of the National Fire Prevention Association.

Three copies of the current BOCA National Property Maintenance Code have been placed on file in the office of the Construction Code Official for use and examination by the public.
