Leaves and yard waste shall be collected by the Township for
recycling starting the last week of October through December 31 of
each year. Sweeping, raking, blowing or otherwise placing leaves or
any other yard waste that is not containerized at the curb or along
the street is only permissible prior to a scheduled and announced
collection. No yard waste shall be placed any closer than 10 feet
to any storm drain inlet. Placement of any leaves or other yard waste
at the curb or along the street at any other time or in any other
manner is a violation of this article.
The Department of Public Works and Police Department are authorized
to enforce this article and any amendments thereto.
Any person(s) who is found to be in violation of the provisions
of this article shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $100 for
the first offense, $250 for the second offense and $500 for the third
offense.
