Editor's Note: Article VI of the original Home Rule Charter was declared unconstitutional in State ex rel. Flynn v. McCaughey et al., 99 Atlantic (2d) 482. Subsequently, the Legislature in a Special November Session, 1953, enacted Chapter 3288 entitled as follows: "An Act pertaining to municipal primaries and elections in the City of Pawtucket, and validating certain provisions in the City of Pawtucket Home Rule Charter."
