Unless otherwise provided by law, all City offices shall be
kept open for the transaction of business each day in the year, Saturdays,
Sundays and legal holidays excepted, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
The Common Council may direct any City office or department to be
kept open at such other hours as public convenience may require. The
Common Council reserves the right to control the hours of employment
of all departments and employees unless otherwise provided by law
or ordinance.

The following departments and agencies may continue their membership
in national and international societies, organizations and institutions
of their respective offices and agencies. The membership fees shall
be charged to the City's general account through each individual department
or agency.

Common Council.
(2)
City Clerk.
(3)
Civil Service Commission.
(4)
Department of Auditorium.
(5)
Department of Law.
(6)
Department of Parks.
(7)
Department of Recreation.
(8)
Department of Public Safety — Fire.
(9)
Department of Public Safety — Police.
(10)
Department of Public Safety — Off-Street Parking.
(11)
Department of Codes Enforcement.
(12)
Department of Human Relations.
(13)
Utica Public Library.
(14)
Any other department or agency where it is of benefit to the department
to be a member of an international or national organization.
