[Ord. No. 74, 5-7-2008]
All portions of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and
Building Code that apply to plumbing are adopted and made a part of
this article.
[Ord. No. 74, 5-7-2008]
Every house or building must be separately and independently
connected with the street sewer unless otherwise permitted by the
Commissioner. In all cases, the sewer pipe extending from the street
sewer to a point of not less than 10 feet from the wall of the building
must be a minimum of six-inch vitrified clay pipe, four-inch transite
or four-inch extra heavy cast-iron pipe and subject to the approval
of the Commissioner. This section shall also apply to any sewer pipe
which is intended to drain any portion of the building site.
