[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of

No plat shall be received for record by the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Worcester County unless the plat is drawn accurately to
scale, is made on a good quality drawing linen or is a blue print
or blue or black line print on linen, and shall not exceed twenty-four
inches in length by eighteen inches in width.
No deed or deeds conveying real estate or chattels real lying
within the boundaries of any sanitary district operated by the Worcester
County Sanitary Commission shall be accepted by the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for recording unless the deed or deeds are marked by the Worcester
County Sanitary Commission to indicate that all assessments or charges
currently due and owed to the Worcester County Sanitary Commission
with respect to the property described in the deed or deeds have been
paid.

(a)
Employment authorized. The Judges of the First
Judicial Circuit of this state are authorized and empowered to employ
competent stenographers to serve the respective courts of the circuit.
The stenographer or stenographers employed by the Judge of the Circuit
Court for Worcester County shall serve at the pleasure of the Judge
of the Circuit Court for Worcester County.
(b)
Compensation. The salary of each of said stenographers
shall be determined and set by the Judges of the First Judicial Circuit,
said salary to be paid as follows: The County Commissioners of Dorchester
County, Somerset County and Worcester County and the County Council
of Wicomico County shall each pay an amount of the salary specified
as directed and certified by the Judges of the circuit, said payments
to be made in regular installments during the service, on the presentation
of the certificate of the Judges of said court to the County Commissioners
certifying to the services of said Court Stenographer. And said County
Commissioners or County Council of the several counties are hereby
directed and empowered to provide for the payment of their several
portions of the salary of said Stenographer at once on presentation
of said certificates. The several Judges of the respective circuit
courts are authorized to provide for the employment of an additional
Court Stenographer or Court Stenographers when, in their joint discretion,
the volume of work requires, at the same compensation as provided
above.
The County Commissioners of Worcester County shall, upon request
of the Judge of the Circuit Court for Worcester County, furnish a
competent personal secretary. The salary of said secretary shall be
in such amount as may be approved by the County Commissioners, and
said secretary shall be employed by the County Commissioners.
