This division applies to curb cuts.
[Code 1964, § 20-63(j)]

[Code 1964, § 20-63(a)]
For the purpose of constructing a driveway approach, no curb cut, opening or section broken out or removed shall exceed 20 feet for residential purposes and 40 feet for commercial or other purposes.
[Code 1964, § 20-63(b)]
The minimum distance between curb cuts shall be not less than 10 feet measured at the inside of the sidewalk.
[Code 1964, § 20-63(c)]

The radius of curvature of the curb return shall not exceed the distance between the curb and the edge of the pedestrian walkway nearest the curb or, where no walk exists, shall not exceed four feet.
[Code 1964, § 20-63(e)]

No curb cut shall be permitted within an intersection.
[Code 1964, § 20-63(g)]
It shall be unlawful for any person to construct, alter or extend or permit or cause to be constructed, altered or extended any driveway approach which can be used only as a parking space or area between the curb and private property except for a parking area between the sidewalk and curb authorized pursuant to section 2-16-215.
[Code 1964, § 20-63(h)]
All pumps, wash racks and islands shall be placed so that vehicles will not be stopped upon the sidewalk, and in no case shall the setback from the right-of-way be less than 12 feet.
[Code 1964, § 20-63(i)]
It shall be unlawful for the owner, occupant or agent of any property in connection with a driveway on the property to use a wooden, metal, blacktop or other approach extending from the street to the top of the curb, and it shall also be unlawful for any person to place dirt, ashes or other material in the gutter next to the curb for the purpose of building up an approach for a driveway.
