A.
The Township
Recreation Director shall authorize and maintain a list of the Township's
trails and their permitted and prohibited uses. The list will be compiled
after receiving the recommendation of the Trails Advisory Committee,
or when the trails go through a native grassland preserve, the recommendation
of both the Trails Advisory Committee and the Open Space Advisory
Committee. The list of trails and their permitted and prohibited uses
shall be updated as necessary and posted on the Township's website.
B.
Prior
to the Trails Advisory Committee, or the Open Space Advisory Committee
making any recommendation for a change in trail use, or for proposed
uses for a new trail, notice of any such proposed change will be announced
in the Committee’s agenda, a copy of such agenda provided to
the Council, and such agenda will be posted on the Township’s
website. The Committee, when making any such recommendation, shall
open its meeting for public comment on the proposed change and, only
after providing the opportunity of public input, vote on the proposed
recommendation and forward the same to the Township Manager and the
Recreation Director.
