GENERAL REFERENCES

No human habitation shall hereafter be constructed in the Town of Bethany unless the Town Sanitarian has issued a permit certifying that the sewage disposal facilities are within the standards established by regulation by the State Department of Health or are approved by the Town Sanitarian where such regulations provide for such approval.

The Town Sanitarian shall collect fees as part of applications for permits as called for in § 170-4 and shall remit the same to the Town Treasurer.
Any violation of this article shall render the violator subject to a fine of not more than $25, and each day during which such violation exists shall be a separate offense.

Sanitary permit fees shall be as follows:
A. 
New septic system (one percolation test included): $100.
B. 
Percolation permit only: $50 each.
C. 
Repair permit: $50.
D. 
Well permit: $40.
The schedule will be effective January 1, 1981.
