As used in this article, "laser pointer," "laser beam" and "laser beam device" mean any device containing a diode laser that emits an intense beam of light, whether classified as:
A. 
A Class 3a diode laser in the 630-680 nm wavelength with power output in the 1 mw to 5 mw range;
B. 
A Class 2 laser with an output of less than 1 mw; or
C. 
A Class 3(b) or Class 4 laser; and whether or not the laser emits a red, green or other colored beam, and whether or not the devices contain or are required to contain any FDA warning.
A. 
No person shall point, shine, focus or otherwise illuminate any person, police officer or animal by use of a laser pointer, laser beam or laser beam device.
B. 
No person shall point, shine, focus or otherwise illuminate a motor vehicle or a motor vehicle operator by use of a laser pointer, laser beam or laser beam device.
C. 
No person shall have, possess or use a laser pointer, laser beam or laser beam device in any park, swimming pool, playground, ball field or building owned, possessed or controlled by the Borough.
