[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the Township of North Codorus as indicated in article histories. Amendments noted where applicable.]
[Adopted 5-21-1996 by Ord. No. 136-5-96; amended in its entirety 5-17-2011 by Ord. No. 231-05-211]
The Board of Supervisors of North Codorus Township, York County, Pennsylvania, has determined that the attorney fees established in § 84-2 of this article are sufficient and appropriate to cover the Township's actual costs in filing municipal and tax liens and accurately reflect the actual time spent by the Township's Solicitor to perform the services itemized in the fee schedule set out in § 84-2 and the costs paid by the Township for such services. Therefore, the Board of Supervisors declares the fees set out in § 84-2 herein to be consistent with the Municipal Claim and Tax Lien Law, as amended, 53 P.S. § 7101 et seq.
[Amended 11-20-2012 by Ord. No. 249-11-2012]
The attorney fees associated with the collection of any municipal claim shall be set forth in a fee schedule to be adopted from time to time by resolution of the Board of Supervisors.[1]

[Amended 11-20-2012 by Ord. No. 249-11-2012]
Interest shall be assessed and accumulated against any liened municipal claim at a rate of 10% per annum, but in no case in excess of the maximum interest rate permitted by the Pennsylvania Municipal Claims and Tax Lien Law, 53 P.S. § 7101, et seq., as amended.
A.
For all municipal liens that were filed and unsatisfied as of the adoption of § 84-3 of this article, the provisions of § 84-3 shall apply to those municipal liens, and the interest rate established in § 84-3 shall be retroactive to the date set out in § 84-3.
B.
In the event that the retroactivity provisions of this § 84-4 are held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal and/or unenforceable, then the statutory interest for judgments at the rate of 6% shall apply to all liens or periods of time affected by such determination.
