All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
The invalidity of any section, clause, sentence, or provision
of this chapter shall not affect the validity of any other part of
this chapter which can be given effect without such invalid part or
parts.
Each provision of this chapter is severable from the others,
so that if any provision is held to be illegal or invalid for any
reason whatsoever, such illegal or invalid provision shall be severed
from this chapter that shall nonetheless remain in full force and
effect.
The Town shall maintain and carry insurance on all physical
properties of the POTW of the kinds and in the amounts normally carried
by public utility companies and municipalities engaged in the operation
of sewage disposal systems. All moneys received for losses under any
such insurance policies shall be applied solely to the replacement
and restoration of the property damaged or destroyed.
The nature and requirements of all formal procedures for applying
for a permit and for requesting a permit under this chapter and for
requesting a hearing shall be formulated by the Town and be made available
upon request.
