[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Committee of the Township of Liberty 11-6-1989 by Ord. No. 13-89. Amendments noted where applicable.]
There is hereby established a Department of Finance in the Township of Liberty.
A. 
The financial business of the Township of Liberty shall be committed to said Department, which shall be headed and administered by the Chief Financial Officer of the Township of Liberty.
B. 
The Chief Financial Officer must meet all requirements of P.L. 1988, c. 110,[1] and shall carry out the responsibilities set forth under N.J.S.A. 52:27BB-26 et seq.

C. 
The Chief Financial Officer, in addition to serving as Director of Finance, shall also serve as the Treasurer.
D. 
The Chief Financial Officer shall receive such compensation as may be established in the Salary Ordinance.[2]
