[Added 10-3-2002 by Ord. No. 2002-7]
A.
It has been determined that the presence of large numbers of wild
geese and ducks and other occasional types of waterfowl on and around
the Township water bodies causes nonpoint source pollution, which
is inimical to the general welfare of people and those wild waterfowl.
B.
It is the purpose of this article to prevent conduct that attracts
such birds to the area, thereby reducing nonpoint source pollution
to lakes and streams.
No person shall feed, cause to be fed or provide food for wild
geese, ducks or other waterfowl anywhere in the Township.
This article shall be enforced by the State Police.
Any person who is guilty of feeding wild waterfowl shall be
punished by a fine of not less than $5, and not more than $500.
