Village trustees shall be elected biennially on even-numbered election years.
The Village President shall be elected at a biennial election.

Village trustees shall hold their offices for a four-year term from the second Monday in March of the even-numbered years when elected, until their successors are qualified and enter upon the duties of their offices.
The Village President shall hold office for a term of two years from the second Monday in March of the even-numbered year that he is elected, until his successor is qualified and enters upon the duties of such office.
The term of the office of Village trustees elected in 1995 shall be extended by one year and such Village trustees shall serve until their successors are elected, qualified and enter upon the duties of their offices at the 1998 Village elections.
Upon the adoption of the ordinance from which this article derives, the following length of terms of office will apply to the following positions to be filled in the 1996 Village election:
A. 
President: two-year term.
B. 
Clerk: two-year term.
C. 
Treasurer: two-year term.
D. 
Three trustee positions: four-year terms and four-year terms thereafter.
Upon the adoption of the ordinance from which this article derives, the following length of terms of office will apply to the following positions to be filled in the 1998 election:
A. 
President: two-year term.
B. 
Clerk: two-year term.
C. 
Treasurer: two-year term.
D. 
Three trustee positions: four-year terms and four-year terms thereafter.
