The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this chapter,
shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where
the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
ASSAULT
An attempt or threat, with force and violence, to do immediate
bodily harm to another by one who has the present means of doing such
harm.
BATTERY
The willful touching of another person against his will.
PUBLIC PLACE
Any street, alley, park, parking lot, public building, place
of business or area open to or frequented by the public, or to which
the public has access.

It is a misdemeanor to fail to appear in district court as required
when charged with an ordinance violation.
Any person who engages in or operates an illegal occupation
or business shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
Any person who solicits for illegal purposes shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor.
A person who loiters in or about a police station, police headquarters
building, county jail, hospital, court building or other public building
or place for the purpose of soliciting employment or legal services
or the services of sureties upon criminal recognizances shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor.
A person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor if the person:
A. Enters and loiters or remains in or about a police department or
sheriff's department, a municipal or county building, courthouse
or library or any public building agency, office, institution or its
environs without express or implied permission of those in authority
or their representatives; and
B. Refuses to leave the premises when so directed by those in authority
or their representatives.
