No person shall keep or maintain a disorderly house nor any
house of ill fame. This provision shall apply to the owner of the
premises, as well as the tenant or occupant of the premises, if the
offense is committed with his knowledge.
No person shall allow or permit his house, shop, garage, store
or any other place connected therewith to be used, frequented or resorted
to by riotous or disorderly persons, drunkards, prostitutes, gamblers,
vagrants, vagabonds, or common mendicants or permit his house, shop,
garage, store or other place as aforesaid to become riotous or disorderly
at any time.
No person shall set up, keep or maintain or permit to be set
up, kept or maintained in any house or premises occupied by him, or
others, any faro table, faro bank, roulette wheel, illegal other device
or game of chance or hazard for the purpose of gaming, or any cockpit
or other place for the exhibition of animals in fight.
A.
Dealing, playing or engaging. No person shall deal, play or engage
in faro, roulette, illegal lotteries or other devices or game of chance
or hazard either as banker, player, dealer or otherwise for the purpose
of gambling.
B.
Possession or use of gambling machines or devices. No person shall
use or permit to be used, possess or have in his custody or permit
to remain in his premises or have in an automobile in his custody,
any gambling machine, punch board, illegal lottery or lottery slips
or any gambling devices or paraphernalia whatever used for the purpose
of gambling in or upon any street, highway, thoroughfare, sidewalk,
building or other public or quasi-public place, or upon private property,
not his own, within the limits of the Borough.

A.
Places of public or private assembly. No person shall disturb or
interfere with the quiet or good of any place of assembly, public
or private, including schools, churches, libraries, and reading rooms,
by noisy, indecent or disorderly conduct.
B.
Public or quasi-public places. No person shall create a disturbance
or breach of the peace in or upon any public street or public or quasi-public
or in any public conveyance, or in or upon any private property not
his own.
No person shall play at or practice any game of ball or shall
pitch or throw any ball in or upon any street, highway, thoroughfare,
sidewalk or other public place within the limits of the Borough.

No person shall make or cause to be made or aid or assist in
making any bonfire or other fire in or upon any street, highway, thoroughfare,
sidewalk or in or upon any public or private grounds within the limits
of the Borough, without first obtaining a permit in writing from the
Fire Official.
No person shall discharge or cause to be discharged any firearm
of any kind or description within the limits of the Borough, unless
the firearm is discharged in the defense of his life or property.
This provision shall not apply to firearms fired with blank cartridges
or shells, as used in connection with athletic or sports events, not
to the discharge of firearms by the police events, nor to the discharge
of firearms by the Police Department of the Borough or any member
thereof or by any special police officer of the Borough while actually
engaging in fire or target practice on any property or range owned,
occupied by, leased or controlled by the Borough or the Police Department
thereof.
No person shall knowingly or wilfully give any false alarm of
fire or cause the same to be given within the limits of the Borough.
No person shall appear in any street, highway, thoroughfare,
sidewalk or any public place or building in an indecent or lewd attire,
nor be guilty of any lewd or indecent act or behavior, nor exhibit,
sell or offer for sale, have in his possession or permit to remain
in or on his premises any indecent or lewd books, pictures or any
other lewd or indecent articles.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a minimum fine of no less than $250. The maximum fine, and any authorized periods of imprisonment shall be as set forth in Chapter 1, Article II, General Penalty, of the Code of the Borough of Red Bank, as it may exist from time to time.
