[HISTORY: Adopted by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Red Bank by Ord. No. 25-82 (Sec. 11-3 of the 1987 Revised General Ordinances). Amendments noted where applicable.]
GENERAL REFERENCES
Rental property — See Ch. 523.
The Housing Inspector or any other inspector of the Building Department of the Borough is hereby designated as the officer to exercise the powers prescribed by this chapter.
A certain document marked and designated as the Hotel and Multiple Dwelling Law, N.J.S.A. 55:13A-6 et seq. (P.L. 1967, c. 76; P.L. 1970, c. 138) be and the same is hereby adopted as the Hotel and Multiple Dwelling Law of the Borough of Red Bank for the maintenance and inspection of buildings and structures as provided in the code; and each and all of the regulations of the Hotel and Multiple Dwelling Law are repeated, duly adopted and made a part of this chapter as fully as if set forth in this chapter. A copy of the code is annexed to this chapter and three copies are on file in the Office of the Borough Clerk.
Any regulations or requirements with respect to multiple dwellings or hotels which appear in other ordinances of the Borough or are established by law and which are more stringent shall take precedence over the provisions of this chapter.
