Pursuant to §§ 61.35 and 62.23(2) and (3), Wis.
Stats., the Village Board is authorized to prepare and adopt a Comprehensive
Plan as defined in §§ 66.1001(1)(a) and 66.1001(2),
Wis Stats.
The Village Board has adopted and followed written procedures
designed to foster public participation at every stage of the preparation
of a Comprehensive Plan containing all of the elements specified in
§ 66.1001(4)(a), Wis. Stats.
The Plan Commission of the Village of Soldiers Grove, by a majority
vote of the Commission members present, recorded in its official minutes,
has adopted a resolution recommending to the Village Board the adoption
of the document entitled "Comprehensive Plan Village of Soldiers Grove,"
pursuant to § 66.1001(2), Wis Stats.
The Village of Soldiers Grove has held a public hearing on August
6, 2009, preceded by a Class 1 notice, in compliance with the requirements
of § 66.1001(4)(d), Wis Stats., and provided other opportunities
for public involvement pursuant to its adopted public participation
plan.
The document entitled "Comprehensive Plan, Village of Soldiers
Grove," is hereby formally adopted as the Village of Soldiers Grove's
Comprehensive Plan pursuant to § 66.1001(4)(c), Wis. Stats.
