No person owning or having the care, custody or control of any pet shall permit such pet to enter or remain in a Borough park during the hours that the governing body authorizes special events involving any such Borough park or parks.
This article shall not apply with regard to companion animals for the disabled.
The Chief of Police, or his designee, shall cause access ways to the municipal park or parks involved with the special event to be prominently posted for each special event with signs stating "No Pets Allowed" and indicating the dates and hours of this restriction. The Poundmaster, Police Department and such other municipal representatives as the Borough Administrator may designate, from time to time, shall enforce the provisions of this article prohibiting pets at Borough parks during the municipally authorized special event programs.
