Pursuant to Chapter 287, Solid Waste, Article I, Collection and Disposal, the fees set forth below shall be charged and paid by persons disposing of normal residential solid waste at the County's convenience stations. This schedule of fees shall be effective July 1, 2010.
Schedule of Fees for Use of County Convenience Stations to Dispose of Normal Residential Solid Waste

Minimum (includes small loads in a full-size pickup)
$4 for loads up to 200 pounds (1/2 cubic yard)
Full load (includes full loads in pickup trucks)
$8 for loads up to 400 pounds (over 1/2 cubic yard to 1 cubic yard)
Truck with side boards or trailers (for large loads or vehicles with trailers)
$12 for loads over 400 pounds and up to 600 pounds (over 1 cubic yard to 2 cubic yards)
Tires, up to 4
Subject to minimum charge above
Note:
All loads are subject to fees based on a rate of $4 per approximately 200 pounds or 1/2 cubic yard. Untarped or unsecured loads may be subject to a surcharge of $8. All clean green waste, single-stream recyclables, and household hazardous waste are accepted free of charge.
Method of payment. Coupons and/or punch cards shall be used as payment at the convenience stations and may be purchased at the County's Utilities Department located at the County Governmental Complex, 845 North Motel Boulevard, Las Cruces, New Mexico 88007, or at other designated County facilities to be identified and published later.
