The Mayor and City Council has determined that the provisions
of this chapter must be enacted to meet the requirements of Natural
Resources Article, §§ 5-1601 through 5-1613,
of the Annotated Code of Maryland, as the same may be amended from
time to time.
This chapter may be amended as required. All amendments to this
chapter shall be subject to the approval of the Department of Natural
Resources. This chapter shall be construed in accordance with all
current applicable provisions of Title 5 of the Natural Resources
Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland and the applicable provisions
of the Code of Maryland Regulations, as the same may be amended from
time to time. Nothing in this chapter is intended to conflict with,
supersede, or otherwise interfere with said provisions of state law.
Set forth below are the provisions of Title 08 Maryland Department
of Natural Resources, Subtitle 19 Forest Conservation, Chapter 03
Model Forest Conservation Ordinance.
