There is hereby created the position of Police Communications
Clerk for assignment to the Edgewater Police Department. The number
of Police Communications Clerks shall be determined by the Mayor and
Council.
The Police Communications Clerks assigned to the Police Department
shall not be members thereof and shall be considered civilian employees
of the Borough of Edgewater.
The duties of the Police Communications Clerks shall be such
as may, from time to time, be established by regulations promulgated
by the Police Chief of the Borough with the prior consent of the Mayor
and Council.
The Police Communications Clerks shall be paid such wages as
shall, from time to time, be established under an appropriate ordinance
of the Borough.
The wages of the Police Communications Clerks shall be set forth
in the current annual Salary Ordinance of the Borough of Edgewater.
