As used in this article, the following term shall have the meaning indicated:
PARK
Shall be deemed to mean and include the park, open space and open area in the following locations within the Incorporated Village of Farmingdale:
A. 
On the easterly side of Main Street and immediately south of the Municipal Building of the Village of Farmingdale and Municipal Parking Field No. 4.
B. 
On the northeast corner of Staples and Hudson Streets, having a frontage on Hudson Street of 150 feet and a frontage on Staples Street of 175 feet, known as Emil Gerngras Park.
C. 
North Side Park.[1]
D. 
Main Street - Melville Road Park.[2]
E. 
Village Green.[3]

The park shall be opened and closed at the time and hour designated by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Farmingdale. No person shall use the park at a time and/or hour other than that designated by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Farmingdale, and the use of the park at a time and/or hour other than that so designated is hereby prohibited and is declared to be a violation of this article. Opening and closing times shall be posted within the area of the park.
No person shall take into, carry through, leave in, throw, lay, drop or discharge into or on the park any tin cans, bottles, refuse, garbage, rubbish or waste. No person shall throw away or discard any match, cigar or cigarettes on or under any tree or underbrush or grass unless it be to deposit the same in a suitable container provided for the reception thereof. Papers, cartons or any other type of litter shall be placed in receptacles provided for that purpose.
No person shall bring into said park, nor consume therein, beer, ale or other alcoholic beverages.
No person shall injure, deface, displace, remove, fill in, raise, destroy or tamper with any drive, path or walk; take up, remove or carry away any trees, shrubs, turf or any material or substance; remove or destroy any structure, building or any appurtenances connected with the park.
Every person shall conduct himself within the park in an orderly manner and in such a way as not to cause discomfort or inconvenience to any other person.[1]

A. 
No ball playing shall be permitted in any parks.
B. 
No dogs shall be permitted within the area of any parks.
C. 
Parks shall be open from dawn to dusk all year unless otherwise designated by resolution of the Board of Trustees.
D. 
The use of playground equipment in any parks shall be restricted to children under the age of 13 years unless otherwise designated by resolution of the Board of Trustees.

The violation of any provision of this article shall be an offense punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or 15 days' imprisonment, or both, and in addition thereto, a violation of any provision of this article shall constitute disorderly conduct and the person violating the same shall be deemed a disorderly person.

As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
IN-LINE SKATES
Shoes, skates or footwear with a single row of roller wheels.
ROLLER-SKATES
Shoes, skates or footwear with two or more sets of roller wheels.
SKATEBOARD
A narrow board of wood, plastic, fiberglass or similar material with roller-skate or other type of wheels attached to each end and used for gliding or moving on any surface.
No person shall use or operate a skateboard, in-line skates, roller-skates or a similar device upon any public park of the Village, including pocket parks and the Village Green.
Every person operating a skateboard, in-line skates or roller skates, where permitted, shall operate the same in strict observance of Article 34 of the New York State Vehicular and Traffic Law relating to the operation of bicycles and play vehicles, except as to those provision which by their nature can have no application.
Any person violating any provision of this article shall be guilty of a violation and upon conviction thereof shall be subject to a mandatory minimum fine of $100 for each offense.
