GENERAL REFERENCES

Fees — See Ch. 290.
The Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Farmingdale hereby adopts rules and regulations for procedure regarding public access to records in accordance with the Freedom of Information Law as follows:
A. 
The Records Access Officer is the Village Clerk-Treasurer.[1]

B. 
Records shall be available at the office of the Village Clerk-Treasurer between the hours of 9:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., during business hours.
C. 
A list of record categories shall be available in the office of the Village Clerk-Treasurer.
D. 
All requests shall be made, in writing, on forms provided by the Records Access Officer.
E. 
Fees.

(1) 
Copies of records will be made upon request in accordance with the fee schedule established by law, in such amount as shall be set from time to time by resolution of the Board of Trustees, with such schedule of fees to be maintained by the Village Clerk-Treasurer.
(2) 
There shall be a minimum charge for search time in such amount as shall be set from time to time by resolution of the Board of Trustees.

No information relative to private matters of personnel will be divulged.
