The position of Public Works Superintendent is hereby created.
The Superintendent shall be appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the Council after the applicant has passed the civil service test for Public Works Superintendent. The Superintendent must possess a valid Certified Public Works Managers Certificate at the time of appointment.
The duties of the Superintendent shall be set forth in the approved job description by the Mayor and Council.
The salary of the Superintendent shall be as set forth in the current Salary Ordinance of the Borough of Edgewater.[1]
