The purpose of this article is to conserve nonrenewable petroleum
resources, to preserve and enhance the quality of the environment
and to protect the public health and welfare.

The provisions of the New Jersey Administrative Code, Title
7, "Environmental Protection," Chapter 26A, "Recycling Rules," Subchapter
6, "Standards for the Management of Used Oil," N.J.A.C. 7:26A-6.1
et seq., are in effect and shall be enforced in the Borough of Edgewater.[1]
