The Board of Health hereby creates the position or office of Board of Health Nurse in and for the Borough of Edgewater.
The Board of Health Nurse, during the term of her appointment, is subject to the authority of the local Board of Health, shall perform the duties which the Board of Health requires from time to time and shall be responsible for the general duties of a health nurse.
The term of office of said Nurse shall be one year, commencing January 1 in each year, until a successor is duly appointed and qualified.
The compensation of the Board of Health Nurse shall be as may be determined from time to time by the Board of Health.
No person shall be appointed as Board of Health Nurse unless that person holds a proper certification as a licensed and professional nurse in the State of New Jersey.

The Borough of Edgewater hereby creates the position or office of Assistant Board of Health Nurse in and for the Borough of Edgewater.

The Assistant Nurse shall perform such duties as determined by the Board of Health and shall be responsible for general nursing duties and functions.

The compensation of the Assistant Board of Health Nurse shall be as determined in the Salary Ordinance of the Borough of Edgewater.[1]
