[HISTORY: Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Glens Falls as Ch. 5 of the 1967 Code. Section 52-3 amended at time of adoption of Code; see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I. Other amendments noted where applicable.]

Any person shall not affix or cause to be affixed to any tree, fence, electric light or telephone pole, in any street within this city, any printed bill or other advertising matter.

Any person, firm or corporation shall not distribute or cause to be distributed any advertising pamphlet, circular, handbill or other advertising matter by leaving the same upon the ground or in or upon any sidewalk, porch, doorway, letter box or vehicle without Council approval.
Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine not to exceed $250. or to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 15 days, or both, for each offense.
