Wherever a space is marked off on any street for the parking of an individual vehicle, every vehicle parked there shall be parked wholly within the lines bounding that space, and it shall be a violation of this article for any person to park a vehicle or allow it to remain parked otherwise.

Only angle parking shall be permitted on the following portions of streets:

On all streets where angle parking is required, every vehicle parked at the angle shall be parked with its front nearest the curb.

Parking of all motor vehicles shall be prohibited in the following locations during snow and ice storms and extending for a period of eight hours following the termination of the storm in order to facilitate snow and ice removal:

It shall be unlawful for any person to park, or to allow to remain parked, on any of the following streets or parts of streets, any vehicle other than a passenger car (which shall not include any bus, motor home or passenger car attached to a trailer of any kind):

No person shall park a vehicle, or allow it to remain parked, for longer than the time indicated, in any of the following locations, at any time on the days and between the hours indicated:

The following are established as special purpose parking zones, and it shall be unlawful for any person to park a vehicle or to allow it to remain parked, in any such zone, except as specifically provided for that zone:

It shall be unlawful for any person to stop, stand or park a vehicle (other than a pedalcycle) on the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of any street, except that standing or parking for the purpose of loading or unloading persons or property shall be permitted Monday through Saturday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and between the hours of 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., and for no longer than necessary for the loading or unloading.

No person shall park or leave unattended any vehicle, truck, tractor, or semitrailer on private property, public property or quasi-public property without the proper consent of the owner or other person in control or possession of the property, or in any of the following locations on such property:
A. 
Within any fire lane, where posted by official signs.
B. 
Within any traffic way. A "traffic way" is the entire width between property lines or other boundary lines of every way or place of which any part is open to the public for the purpose of vehicular travel as a matter of right or custom.
C. 
In a designated handicapped parking zone, unless the vehicle bears registration plates or an official placard issued to handicapped persons or disabled persons and is being operated by or for the transportation of the handicapped person or disabled veteran.
D. 
At any place where official signs and/or markings prohibit stopping, standing or parking.

Any person violating this Part, and the owner of any vehicle parked in violation of this Part, shall be subject to a fine and penalty of not less than $10, if paid within five business days of the date of the violation, and not exceeding $300 in any instance for the violation, which fine and penalty may be collected by suit or summary proceedings brought in the name of the Township of Kingston before any Magistrate.
