There is hereby adopted by the Township of Upper Moreland for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing the fabrication, erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, and repair of detached single-family dwellings and detached two-family dwellings in the Township, certain documents (three copies of which are on file in the office of the Township Manager of Upper Moreland Township at 117 Park Avenue, Willow Grove, Pennsylvania), being marked and designated as the International Residential Code for One- and Two-Family Dwellings, 2000 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, and the whole thereof, save and except such portions as are hereafter deleted, modified or amended by § 115-16 of this article, and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as if set forth at length herein.
A. 
Chapter 1, Administration shall be deleted in its entirety and the provisions of Chapter 1, Administration, of the International Building Code, as amended, shall be incorporated by reference with respect to all construction to which this International Residential Code for One- and Two-Family Dwellings is applicable.
B. 
Sec. R202 Definitions shall be amended by having the definition of "Building official" read as follows:
Building official: The Director of the Department of Code Enforcement of the Township of Upper Moreland shall be the building official as referred to in this code.
C. 
Sec. R301 Design Criteria shall be amended by having the Table R301.2a amended to have the following criteria apply:

Sec. R402 Materials shall be amended by having Table R402.2 amended to provide that all concrete shall have a minimum compressive strength of 3,000 psi.
E. 
Appendix I — Private Sewage Disposal shall be deleted in its entirety.
The construction requirements of Appendix G[1] of Article I of this chapter, as amended by the Township Code, shall be controlling with respect to the construction, repair or addition to any single-family or two-family dwelling located in the FP Floodplain Conservation District under Chapter 350, Zoning, Article XIX, of the Township Code, which requirements are incorporated herein by reference.
